Our base yarn is procured from a specialized Italian cotton-yarn spinner, who created a yarn that is both extraordinary smooth and, due to the complicated dyeing process, optically unique. Made of two-ply Egyptian cotton, the base yarn is also mercerized, a process in which raw yarn is carefully passed through a low flame to burn off excess yarn "fuzz". This is then knit with intentionally placed spandex, with the result being a highly unique and luxurious sock.
